THIS TOWN (Two Tone) - REPLICA BRIDGE BUILD

Drawn using Vectorworks. As well as making three concrete effect lamp post plinths for the existing location (drawn using Sketch Up), we were asked to create a replica section of the bridge to shoot in the studio on a green screen. This required consistent collaboration between myself and the producer, director, DOP, SFX and Construction to ensure we created the correct size and angles to line up with existing footage and storyboards.

Due to tight scheduling, we decided to put the set on castors so it could be spun around easily to shoot both sides against the green screen. The scenic work not only had to be exact, but also hard wearing due to some intense action on set. We perfectly matched the cracks in the stones using CNC and dressed in mud and grass to look as realistic as possible.
